Martin Kierszenbaum aka Cherry Cherry Boom Boom is a GRAMMY-nominated

songwriter/producer/musician who has worked with Sting, Madonna, Lady Gaga, t.A.T.u., Shaggy, Halsey, Far EastMovement, Robyn, Mylène Farmer and more.

Kierszenbaum grew up in South America, Europe and various parts of the US absorbing diverse sounds and rhythms along the way. He studied piano and received a Music degree from the University of Michigan and a Masters degree from the Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism at the University of Southern California. Kierszenbaum’s first release as a producer was the critically-acclaimed hip hop album "The Funky Record" by Maroon.

After working as a music executive and producer at PolyGram, Warner Bros. Records, A&M Records and Interscope Records, Kierszenbaum decided to launch his own Cherrytree Music Company in 2005 which he designed as a haven for progressive artists and genre-defying musicians. Over the last 17 years with Cherrytree, Kierszenbaum has sold in excess of 40 million records and charted 5 songs at no. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Kierszenbaum has written and produced music including the no. 1 song “All the Things She Said" by Russian duo t.A.T.u., four songs on Lady Gaga’s debut album "The Fame,“ Madonna’s “Holy Water,” and one of France’s top- selling albums of 2015, Mylène Farmer’s "Interstellaires.” Kierszenbaum has also released his own songs under the pseudonym, Cherry Cherry Boom Boom, notching two Billboard Dance Club Chart Top 40 hits with “Come Back from San Francisco” and “One and Only.”

Kierszenbaum wrote, produced and played on Sting’s and Shaggy’s GRAMMY award-winning Reggae album “44/876.” He was also awarded a BMI Award for his songwriting contribution to Halsey’s “Nightmare,” one of the most-played songs of the year. Kierszenbaum produced Sting’s “57th & 9th” and “The Bridge” albums as well as Samantha Fish’s album”Faster” which spent 3 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart. He co-composed Sting’s “For Her Love” and wrote the lyrics for its Spanish adaptation “Por Su Amor,” duet with Sting and Mexican singer KURT. The song “Maldita,” which Kierszenbaum co-wrote with Texas group The Last Bandoleros was awarded a Tejano World Music award in 2022.
